Absolutely fantastic staff, selection of food, toys, and health products for both dogs and cats. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable. If they don't have something in stock, they always check to see if it is possible to order it. This is what a pet supplies shop should be!

My husband and I dedicated our Saturday to finding our fur-ever baby, needless to say we went to a couple places and had horrible experiences. We decided to try out Premier Pet Supply, we went to the Shelby and Detroit locations and both were amazing. Shout out to Vincent @ the Detroit location, he was beyond professional & so helpful. We ended up adopting Remi & he is a perfect edition to our family.

My wife and I were in a bind near closing and needed harnesses. They stayed open a couple mins late to help us out. We accidentally bought leashes but they allowed us to return them the next day. Grace is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Super nice people here.

This place packs it in! Filled with everything you need and you don’t have to leave the city. The young woman that helped me was not only knowledgeable but also patient and kind. It was our first time in and now we are going to be full time customers! They have punch cards for so many items and offer free same day delivery within a 20 mile radius- glorious for those of us that live in Detroit. Easy decision to leave Chewy delivery and support local!

I can’t say enough about the crew that leads and supports the premier pet Detroit store! Despite being avid online shoppers, we make it a point to support our local store not just because of proximity to our home but because the crew feels like family. They know my entire family, always ask about our girls (pups), hold items when we’re in need, and same with custom orders if they don’t have my product in stock! Customer service 10/10; good humans 10/10; always have what my girls want and need 10/10.

I visited this pet store for the first time today and was immediately impressed. The staff was so welcoming, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuine. I’ve been doing tons of research trying to find the right food for my 10-year-old dog who has reduced activity and struggles to lose weight. I asked for recommendations, and they went above and beyond — explaining ingredients, comparing options, and helping me choose something that fit my dog’s needs and my budget. I love supporting local, family-owned businesses, but sometimes it ends up costing more, which can make it hard. This store completely changed that for me. I got amazing guidance, personalized recommendations, and I’m actually saving money on dog food now — which was such a pleasant surprise. I left feeling excited to see how this new food works for my girl — hopefully keeping her full, happy, and maybe helping her finally lose a little weight. I’m genuinely so satisfied and grateful I found this place. My dog and I will definitely be back! 🐾💛
